Huckleberries topped the Langley Farm Team by the slimmest of margins, 4 to
3.
The score was tied at 3 after nine. Tombstone ended up winning it in the 10th
inning. After an out was recorded, Franklin Gutierrez doubled. Ivan
Rodriguez next to the plate and he doubled resulting in an exciting win for
Tombstone and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans.
Tombstone banged out 8 hits on the night.
The victory went to Steven Jackson(4-5) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing
no runs. Kevin Gregg(3-3) was charged with the loss in relief.
The Tombstone ballclub's record now stands at 61-55. With the loss, the
Langley ballclub's record is 62-54, worst in the division.
